Marianne Oyerhavn Knudson

 
 
Marianne was born in the town Bodo in the north of Norway on August 4th 1975. Marianne received the law degree Candidata Juris from the University of Oslo, Norway in 2004. While attending the University of Oslo, she wrote her master thesis comparing the doctrine of “Piercing the Corporative Veil” as applied in Norwegian and American law. Marianne spent one semester as an exchange student at the University of North Dakota Law School as part of the Norwegian Law Degree. While in North Dakota, Marianne met her husband and decided to return to North Dakota.

Marianne obtained her Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of North Dakota School of Law during which time she participated in Moot Court and received an award for Best Appellee Brief. While attending the University of North Dakota School of Law, Marianne served as a law clerk for Pearson Christensen & Clapp during her final year of Law School and joined the firm as an associate attorney after graduation.
